Inauguration Day 2009 Tickets in Big Demand as Barack Obama Prepares to Take White House

With Barack Obama's historic presidential victory complete there has been a tremendous amount of attention now turned to Inauguration Day tickets to actually witness the 47-year-old Democrat being sworn in at the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C.

Obama, the nation's first African American president-elect, will be sworn in on January 20th with an estimated 30,000 seats being set up for the moment. The majority of those tickets will be going to party and campaign insiders with the general public likely being left to watch the event on television.

Inauguration Day tickets have yet to be printed and won't be released until January.
