Twilight" Presale Tickets Selling Out Fast

"Twilight" midnight tickets are selling out fast. The highly anticipated vampire flick has sold out hundreds of shows in more than 3,000 locations four days before its opening on Friday.

Online ticket sales company Fandango said that it has sold out almost 700 shows, including more than 500 midnight Thursday screenings, while MovieTickets sold more than 400 of various screening times.

They added that the Summit Entertainment film - which stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson - accounted for more than 85% of presales in recent days.

Fandango COO Rick Butler told the Hollywood Reporter, "In the age of big, studio tentpole pictures, it's a surprise to find such encouragingly strong advance ticket sales for an independent film with no established box office stars."

"That's a tribute to power of the blockbuster novel, solid word-of-mouth on the movie's early screenings and savvy Internet marketing."
